Prior to the release of The Resilient Candidate® over 15 copies were sent to Executive Candidates who offered their time during their executive job search to read and possibly follow some of the actions plans highlighted in the book. These candidates who were all actively seeking executive employment were either gainfully employed or unemployed executives.

Don Hughes, who is a valued and longtime friend of the author is currently and has been an Executive Retainer Recruiter with over fifteen years in the Consumer Products Industry. Mr. Hughes made available to Proactive Publishing for this specific Panel Data Study a contact list of Executive Candidates who were currently approaching him and his company for support during their search.

Hughes & Company reached out to these candidates and asked if they would be interested in participating in a Panel Data Study on Executive Job Search Strategies and their effectiveness relative to results in today's challenging job market.

Once Hughes and Company had identified at least 15 Candidates who agreed to participate with feedback after reviewing the book, they were all sent a copy of The Resilient Candidate® for their review and use during their job search. Shortly after deployment of the books, commentary and feedback from the candidates worked its way back to the Hughes and Company's Associates and Staff Members.

Not surprising, all Executive participants who responded (11 of 15) supplied a tremendous amount of positive feedback. Most Candidates even offered actual examples of how they followed a specific recommendation in the book that resulted in having a strong impact on their job search.

All eleven Executive Candidates participating in Proactive Publishing's Panel Data study supplied positive and consistent feedback and commentary in the four (4) key areas identified below after reading The Resilient Candidate® contents.
